Sensible Policy for Keene’s Future
Running for Keene City Council

Today, I officially filed my candidacy at the City Clerk’s office to run for one of the five at-large City Council seats in Keene, New Hampshire. The Keene City Council comprises 15 members: two councilors elected from each of the city’s five wards and five at-large councilors representing the entire city. The mayor serves as the Council’s Chairman and the ceremonial head of Keene.
I am running for City Council because I believe it’s time for everyday citizens like myself to have a stronger voice in our local government. As a resident of Keene, I am concerned about rising property taxes, regulatory barriers that hinder growth, and the influence of a vocal minority that too often overshadows the needs of the broader community. I am committed to bringing practical leadership to address these challenges.
As your City Councilor-at-Large, I will advocate for:
Fiscal Responsibility: Ensuring tax dollars are spent wisely, curbing excessive spending, and prioritizing investments that benefit our community.
Economic Growth: Streamlining regulations to attract businesses and foster an environment where Keene’s economy can thrive.
Affordability: Protecting residents from being priced out by balancing growth with policies that maintain Keene’s vibrant community.
Common Sense: Preventing the tyranny of the minority from dominating decision-making in City Hall, ensuring policies reflect the will and needs of all Keene residents.
I’m a neighbor who cares deeply about Keene’s future. Together, we can build a stronger, more prosperous city that works for everyone. I humbly ask for your support in the upcoming election to make this vision a reality.
